JONATHAN O'NEILL
Jonathan is a Registered Psychologist who has worked in the field of therapeutic services since 2002. He has worked in both public and private health sectors as well as with community non-government organizations including the Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC), Abbotsford Private Hospital, Youth Focus, InFocus Counselling, Family Planning WA, and the Autism Association of WA.
He completed his Bachelor of Psychology degree at Curtin University, and went on to complete postgraduate studies in the fields of Sexology (Curtin University) and Mental Health Practice (UWA).
Jonathan works from a client-centred approach, and is skilled in engaging clients and their families in counselling to address the issues affecting them.
In particular, Jonathan has spent much of his career working with clients who are often reluctant to openly engage in therapy including adolescents, young adults, and men.

The standard rate for appointments with Jonathan is $150.00 per session. Each session will usually run for 50-60 minutes, and payment is required on the day of your appointment.
If you have a referral and a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician then you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $84.80 (rebate rate as of 2016) per session. This rebate is available for 10 sessions per calendar year.
All payments and rebates can be processed electronically if you provide relevant payment, bank, and Medicare details. Please bring your bank and Medicare details with you to your first appointment if you would like to access electronic processing.
Cancellations
Once an appointment is scheduled, you are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice when canceling an appointment. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, full payment ($150.00) will be required.
